Trader365® Underage Policy
Effective Date: 1 July 2025
1. Age Restriction and Eligibility
Trader365® is intended strictly for individuals who are eighteen (18) years of age or older. By registering an account or using any Trader365® services, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old.
2. Age Verification
Trader365® reserves the right to implement reasonable measures to verify user age during registration. We may request proof of age, such as official identification, if we suspect any false declarations or receive credible reports.
3. Action on Underage Use
If we determine that a registered user is under the age of 18, we will:
- Immediately suspend or terminate the user’s account.
- Remove access to all Trader365® services.
- Delete any personal data collected from the underage user within thirty (30) days in line with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws.
- Where required by applicable laws, notify a parent or legal guardian.
4. Parental Rights and COPPA Statement
Trader365® does not knowingly collect data from children under 13 and complies with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) for any US-based users. We do not target children with our services. If we discover data collected from a child under 13 without verified parental consent, we will promptly delete it.
5. GDPR Article 8 Compliance
In compliance with GDPR Article 8, Trader365® does not knowingly process personal data of children below the age of 16 without parental consent, where required. For our services, the minimum age remains 18.
6. Reporting Underage Accounts
If you have reason to believe that a user under the age of 18 is using Trader365®, please notify us immediately at support@trader365.co.uk. We will review all reports promptly and take appropriate action.
7. Investigation and Appeals Process
Trader365® will investigate any reports of underage use diligently. If your account is suspended for suspected age misrepresentation and you believe this was done in error, you may appeal by providing satisfactory proof of age within fourteen (14) days of suspension notice.
8. Data Shared with Third Parties
Any personal data already processed through third-party services, such as payment processors or analytics tools, will be subject to deletion procedures and coordination with our service providers to ensure compliance.
9. Account Recovery Prevention
Trader365® implements controls to prevent terminated underage accounts from being reopened or recreated with false information.
10. Refunds
Trader365® reserves the right to withhold or process refunds at its discretion for payments made by underage users who violated the age policy.
11. Record Keeping
Records of underage account investigations, actions taken, and deletions are securely maintained in accordance with our Data Protection Policy for audit and compliance purposes.
12. Liability Limitation
Trader365® shall not be held liable for any losses arising from an underage individual falsely declaring their age. Responsibility for providing truthful and accurate information lies solely with the user.
13. Policy Updates
Trader365 may amend this Underage Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the app and our website with an updated effective date.
